This whole Idlib situation is really worrying and scary. The Americans, Brits, French etc. are obviously lying through their rotten teeth again about Assad planning a chemical weapon attack and if one does take place it's equally obvious who will have orchestrated it.

SYRIA WAR: 40+ DEFINITIVE AND MOST INFORMATIVE LINKS
Too many people believe the Disney version of what?s happening in Syria ? gallant America riding a white horse to save the poor children of Syria from a brutal dictator. The truth about Syria is that the western elites have been trying to overthrow the government for many decades. Everything else is just drama for public consumption.

Here are some links to official CIA documents, WikiLeaks emails, secretly recorded audio tapes, and inadvertent truth-telling from media/political elites that demonstrate the ruthless regime change plans in Syria that involve many countries including the US, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey etc.

A new and much more serious attack on Syria is being planned, on pretexts as thin as WMD, which could drag us into a general war in the Middle East, or worse You have almost no time to contact your MP before Parliament goes on holiday. Please act.

Filming of staged chemical attack in Syrian Idlib begins - Russian MoD ? RT World News

Footage, meant to serve as proof that the Syrian government has conducted a chemical weapons attack in Idlib, Syria, is to be handed to global news outlets by the end of Tuesday, the Russian military claims.

Several Middle East TV channels and a US news channel have been sent to Jisr al-Shughur in Syria?s Idlib Governorate to produce the footage needed for the provocation, a statement by the Russian Center for Syrian Reconciliation said. It added the intelligence came from local residents of Jisr al-Shughur.

?All the footage of the staged provocation in Jisr al-Shughur is to be delivered to the newsrooms of TV channels, which are to broadcast it after its publication on social media,? the statement claimed.

It also said that an Islamist group was provided with two canisters of a ?chlorine-based chemical? for the purpose of the operation.

The Russian military said the footage would include scenes of White Helmets operatives treating supposed victims of an apparent barrel bomb chemical weapon attack by Damascus.

Moscow has repeatedly warned that a false flag chemical weapon attack was being prepared in Idlib, giving the US and its allies justification to attack Syrian government forces. Senior US officials have threatened Damascus with retaliation if it uses chemical weapons in Idlib and even preemptively assigned the blame for any such attack to the government.

''Yeah, the whole Skipal affair conveniently fixes in the mind of the British public the idea that Russia has a track record of using chemical weapons. They will then be more likely to believe whatever lie about Syrian/Russian use of them in Syria is pushed in MSM.''

Explosive Skripal allegations will probably blow up in Syria's Idlib where the US/UK axis is cocked, ready to fire. The UK media lost their collective mind over Russia but their masters have not. There is method in their madness.
Today's latest offering is that the 'Russians' in the 'mugshots' released last week are 'already dead' having been 'executed by Putin' to stop them talking, forever. Which neatly avoids the British state asking Russia for help in identifying them. London's failure to do so was already arousing suspicion amongst a cynical public. There is now no point, the would-be assassins are now six-feet below the permafrost of Anglo-Russian relations.

The media here have completely ignored the statement of the head of the anti-terrorist squad of Scotland Yard that he had "No" evidence of Russian state involvement in the crime in Salisbury, preferring instead the cheap barroom brawling of the British prime minister on the floor of the House of Commons cheered on by the vulgar popular press and their more refined elder sisters in the upmarket papers and on the BBC.

I prefer to listen to the police. And watch them. Their most significant act since I last wrote here on this subject has been to erect an array of tents outside the Skripal house in Salisbury which the government had been planning to purchase at way above value by British taxpayers expense. The "decontamination of the house" is the stated purpose.

But as I hope I established here last week the poisoning of Yulia and Sergei Skripal could not have been caused by "Novichok" on the doorknob.

The Skripal's left the house before 9.15am on the fateful morning of March 4 and there is NO evidence that they ever returned to it. There is ample CCTV footage of the couple driving away from their house from 9.15am onwards but none of them driving back to it.

As the 'Russian mugs,' by the police's own testimony shows, didn't arrive in Salisbury until 11.48am, if they did paint the Skripal doorknob with the "deadliest nerve agent known to man - 8-10 times more deadly than VX" their horses had already bolted. If they did paint the doorknob they did so at around noon in broad-daylight, when the neighbours were coming home from church, doing their gardens, washing their cars and in full view of the whole street. They wore no protective clothing while doing it. And they then sauntered through the town centre, window-shopping and being caught on every town centre CCTV camera. If any neighbour, who had seen them painting the door, had called the police (and the 'mugs' couldn't be sure that nobody had) they would have now been arrested rather than 'buried under the frost'.

As it was they caught the highly unreliable Sunday service public transport route from Salisbury to Heathrow which, as a British tabloid journalist opined, "no sane Englishman with a plane to catch would ever do."

Peter NichollsSpanish spin? NYT proposes strained Kremlin motive in Skripal case, but analysts don't buy it
So, if the police are now in the Skripal house in numbers and with intent, it cannot be on account of the doorknob - both for the reasons stated but also because a police officer stood right outside the Skripal house day and night for weeks after the event without even a pair of rubber dishwashing-gloves on with no ill-effect whatsoever.

This development buttresses my working hypothesis that however it got there a quantity of this "Novichok" was IN the Skripal house and not painted on its doorknob. This hypothesis is necessary also to explain the poisoning of the poor British plainclothes detective DS Bailey who seemed to have had no contact with the collapsed Skripals on the park bench but is the sole individual to be poisoned at the house. If, for the reasons I've stated, it was not on the doorknob then he can only have been poisoned indoors.

Another police statement roundly ignored by the British media was the answer Scotland Yard's Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, the head of UK counter-terrorism policing, gave to a question asked at his press conference by the BBC.

"What kind of visa did the Russians enter Britain on?"

"I don't know" was the reply. Not that for operational reasons he didn't want to say. But that he didn't know.

I know the commander and have a high respect for his professional experience. I know that he cannot have failed to ask the Home Office this question. I know that the Home Office must know the answer to the question. The only logical inference therefore is that the Home Office - which will have vetted the visa applications before the consulate in Moscow could have been instructed to issue them - has refused to tell the commander in charge of investigating the crime this basic and vital piece of information.

READ MORE: Bolton promises ?much stronger? response if chemical weapons used in Syria

According to the Wall St Journal, the US has concluded that the Syrian regime of Bashar Assad is about to unleash a "chemical weapons attack" on the very last stronghold of Al-Qaeda and Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS) fighters in Syria. We are asked to believe that having won the war Assad seeks to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by bringing the axis powers back full-scale into the Syrian war.

Whilst no-one but the least savvy of sheep is likely to believe that casus belli it is nonetheless all that the war-party has got to justify an expected new blizzard of cruise missiles and maybe more. Behind the Syrian Army stands of course the Russian Armed Forces, the very same Russia that has already 'started chemical weapons warfare' on the streets of Salisbury. However explosive Mrs May's words were in the British parliament they will soon be drowned out by the din of war in Idlib.

These members of the highly sophisticated and professional 'GRU' carried out the most shoddy, incompetent and unprofessional attempted assassination in history, leaving behind a trail of evidence as long as your arm that leads directly to them and Russia, flying out from Moscow and then straight back to Moscow when they'd completed their objective, using Russian passports, carrying out their mission in broad daylight making sure their faces are captured clearly on CCTV cameras and even stopping to do a bit of window shopping along the way, travelling on British transport and sharing a room in a fleapit hotel during their stay because the 'GRU' under Putin's direct orders couldn't afford to pay for single rooms for them in a slightly more upmarket one, and of course using the ''most deadly nerve agent known to man'' that exposure to even the most minute amount of is extremely fast acting and fatal to carry out their failed attack lol

The White Helmets have shot at least nine videos intended to serve as proof in accusations that the Syrian government conducted a chemical weapon attack using chlorine against civilians in Idlib, the Russian military claims.
READ MORE: Filming of staged chemical attack in Idlib, Syria begins ? Russian MoD

A number of Middle Eastern TV channels and a regional affiliate of a US broadcaster ?have shot nine videos, in Jisr al-Shughur city in Idlib province, of a staged chemical attack? that will be blamed on the Syrian government, the Russian Reconciliation Center In Syria said in a statement on Wednesday.

All videos show activists from the White Helmets group, which purportedly provides assistance to civilians, the statement claims.

The Russian military details that on September 11, the White Helmets and terrorists from Tahrir al-Sham (commonly known as Al-Qaeda in Syria) held a meeting following the filming process, in which they selected two out of nine videos for future transfer to the United Nations and the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The remaining videos are to be used for propaganda on social media networks due to the poor quality, the military claims.

At the same time, since September 9, the White Helmets have been staging rehearsals of an alleged chemical attack in Khan Shaykhun, Russian officials say in the same statement, claiming that the rehearsals feature up to 30 civilians, including a dozen children aged 8-12.

Further claims by the Russian military indicate the White Helmets, along with the terrorists, are preparing an ?actual use of poisonous chorine-based substances? on the people participating in the filming of the fake videos.

On-the-scene preparations of places for explosions of toxic substances is carried out by members of Hurras al-Din terrorist group (or the Guardians of Religion Organization, which is affiliated with Al-Qaeda), the statement claims.

The militants have selected 22 children and their parents from several villages in the Aleppo governorate who will play parts in staging fake chemical weapon attacks.

Another group of children is comprised of orphans kidnapped from refugee camps, who are meant to be used for the footage of death scenes. It is currently kept in one of the buildings of the Ikab prison controlled by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist group.

Signs of activities to prepare staged chemical weapon attacks were reported in Kafir-Zait, the military claims, also naming two villages where toxic chemicals have been delivered to stage provocations.

Beyond Orwellian: Myth of UK's 'non-intervention' in SyriaA new House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee Report calls on the UK government to launch an inquiry into its 'non-intervention' in Syria. This is gaslighting on a massive scale, because there's been intervention aplenty.
What do you understand by the term 'non-intervention'? Not intervening in something, I presume? It's clear that the Foreign Affairs committee has another definition which is the complete opposite. In their 'Through the Looking Glass' world, 'non-intervention' actually means 'intervention'. Bombing the country in question, funding, supplying and training 'rebel' groups to attack government forces, imposing sanctions and doing everything possible to keep the conflict going, are all examples of 'inaction', it seems.

"The decision not to intervene in Syria has had very real consequences for Syrians, their neighbors, the UK and our allies," the report declares. Actually it was the decision to intervene which did that. Syria would be in a far better state if the UK and its regional allies had genuinely not meddled, illegally, in the internal affairs of a sovereign nation.

Let's recap Britain's role in the conflict. The former French Foreign Minister Roland Dumas claimed in an interview on French television that two years before the war began, UK officials had told him they were "preparing something" in Syria. "This was in Britain not in America. Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria," Dumas said.

If the idea of Britain conspiring to overthrow the Syrian government sounds far-fetched, then consider this. We already know that in 1956/7 there was a joint UK/US plan to do just that. It involved agent provocateurs being deployed to stage a number of incidents, which would then be used as a pretext for invasion and 'regime change'.

"Once a political decision is reached to proceed with internal disturbances in Syria, CIA is prepared, and SIS [MI6] will attempt, to mount minor sabotage and coup de main incidents within Syria, working through contacts with individuals."

"The two services should consult, as appropriate, to avoid overlapping or interfering with each other's activities," the plan said.

If Dumas is correct, something very similar was in the offing in 2009/2010 too. Perhaps the government just dusted down the old 1950s blueprint.

New Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) members. August 14, 2018 OMAR HAJ KADOUR ?Straight out of the RT propaganda machine?: MP attacked for urging UK military restraint in Syria
It didn't take Britain too long, when the violence started in Syria in 2011, to call for President Assad to step down. In fact 'Assad must go' became an obsession for the UK's political elite, a goal they seemed determined to pursue at any cost and irregardless of the fact that among the forces opposed to Assad were al-Qaeda affiliates and other extreme sectarian groups. In June 2012, an Israeli website suggested that British Special Forces were already operating inside Syria.

Two months later, Foreign Secretary William Hague announced that Britain was to give an 'extra' 5m (on top of 1.4m) to Syrian opposition groups, including radio and satellite equipment. Again, how can this be classed as 'non-intervention'?

Also that August, it was reported that the Syrian 'rebels' were receiving 'aid' from British intelligence. The Sunday Times quoted an opposition official who said that the British authorities "know about and approve 100%" intelligence from their Cyprus military bases, being passed through Turkey to the rebel troops of the Free Syrian Army (FSA)."

Writing in the Independent one year later, Kim Sengupta revealed that Britain had handed over equipment worth 8m to Syrian 'rebels', including "five 4x4 vehicles with ballistic protection; 20 sets of body armour; four trucks (three 25 tonne, one 20 tonne); six 4x4 SUVs; five non-armoured pick-ups; one recovery vehicle; four fork-lifts; three advanced "resilience kits" for region hubs, and VSATs (small satellite systems for data communications."

Throughout 2013, the UK was doing all it could to escalate the conflict by pushing other EU countries to agree to arming the Syrian 'rebels'. "It is difficult to imagine a more hopeless or stupid policy from our head of diplomacy", wrote Neil Hamilton, (that's the former Conservative MP and not the actor who played Commissioner Gordon in the 1960s Batman TV series), in a Sunday Express article entitled 'Hague on path to Syrian hell'.

Things came to a head in August 2013, as Prime Minister David Cameron asked for Parliamentary support to bomb Syria. It was clear by then, that air strikes, at the very least, were needed if Assad was to be ousted. The war lobby were confident of a 'Yes' vote but Labour, led by Ed Miliband, voted against. Miliband correctly said that the House of Commons (for once) had spoken "for the people of Britain."

It was this decision which is always cited as a 'great mistake' by the Syria hawks but they ignore what went off before, and after it. The UK government had been thwarted but they continued to push for 'regime change'. Cameron finally got Parliamentary approval to bomb Syria in December 2015, (this time on the basis of fighting Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) which had gained ground in Syria largely because of the policies of the US/UK and their allies), but the BBC reported in July 2015 that air strikes on the country carried out by British pilots had already taken place. News of this only emerged after a Freedom of Information Request.

Hannah McKayBoris Johnson?s Putin-Hitler comparison is a provocation too far
Between December 2015 and June 2016 there were a total of 51 British air strikes in Syria. This year, there has been further bombing, including the targeting of military bases near Damascus and Homs in April.

"We believe that the consequences of inaction can be every bit as serious as intervening," the Foreign Affairs committee report states.

How can we explain this extraordinary attempt to portray Britain's extensive and well-documented operations in Syria as 'not intervening'? After all so much is on the public record, including, on the Ministry of Defence website, details of RAF air strikes.

A look at the membership of the Foreign Affairs Committee is illuminating. Its chair, Tom Tugendhat, Tory MP for Tonbridge and Malling, is a hardcore neocon and a former member of the Intelligence Corps. Peter Oborne, the highly respected political commentator, wrote about the 'neocon coup' that took place on the committee last year and warned us of its consequences. But how many were paying attention?

Other members of Tugendhat's committee include Ian Austin, the Labour MP who likened Russia's holding of the World Cup to Nazi Germany's hosting of the 1936 Olympic Games, and who told Jeremy Corbyn to "sit down and shut up" when he was criticizing the Iraq war.

Then we have Chris Bryant, a signatory to the statement of principles of the uber neocon Henry Jackson Society and Priti Patel, who stepped down from the Cabinet in 2017 when it was revealed she had undisclosed, unofficial meetings with Israeli ministers. In fact, if we look at the composition of the committee and compare it to the far more balanced one under the chairmanship of Crispin Blunt, (which produced a critical report on the UK government's intervention in Libya in 2016) it's no surprise we've got the document we have.

I have spent all day, on and off, trying to work out what I think of this FCO Committee Report. I am still wondering; but I am fearful of "undercurrents" within the membership. #Credibilityhttps://twitter.com/CommonsForeign/status/1039064689173573633?s=19 ?

In our Report published today we call on the Government to launch an inquiry into the decision-making processes that led to non-intervention in Syria. Read more here https://publications.parliament.uk/p.../1005/1005.pdf ? @TomTugendhat

Neocons know that after the disasters of Iraq and Libya, 'interventionist' foreign policies have been utterly discredited. So, the only way out is to portray Syria, however ludicrously, as an example of UK 'non-intervention', in the hope that some people might fall for it and support 'rectifying' the 'inaction' at some point in the near future. Perhaps in response to a non-independently verified chemical weapons attack in Idlib, later this month? The Foreign Affairs Committee report, which makes George Orwell's 1984 look quite understated, is perfectly timed for that.
